Volunteers from this committee manage the Yard of the Month program and help with other beautification efforts throughout the neighborhood, such as cleanups and improvements to the subdivision entrances.
Yard of the Month Winner
Yards of the Month are awarded April through December, with the months of October through December reserved for the holiday decorating contests. During the months of April through September, two winners are selected—one from each side of the greenbelt. Three winners are selected for the holiday decorating contests neighborhood-wide.
The Yard of the Month program is intended to inspire Silhouette residents to take pride in the appearance of their yards and homes, contributing to the overall appearance of the neighborhood. Volunteers from the Beautification Committee run the program with input from the neighbors. See a yard worth nominating? Submit your nomination to the committee chairperson.
Each area winner receives a “Yard of the Month” sign in their yard to display during the following calendar month and a gift card to a local home improvement or garden retailer.
